The two youth leaders tina and sabrina forkel revive an old tradition at TSV scherneck. After six years of abstinence, a children's summer festival was held again this year, which was very well received by the TSV children and adults alike.
Everyone had a good time and did something good, because half of the proceeds from the raffle will go to the coburg children's cancer foundation.
The entire TSV sports field turned into a giant playground. There were ten play stations such as "tractor driving", bowling, wheelbarrow races, rubber boot throwing, egg races and sack races were all on offer. Also the one or the other adult accepted the offer of the games, some of them traditional, and played with his offspring.
Of course, there was no shortage of goal-wall pushing and a button machine, which was operated at times by mayor rolf rosenbauer. The fire department offered a cooling down, because there an assumed fire could be extinguished with water. Those who passed through all the play stations were rewarded with a prize. Also a tombola with many valuable prizes was organized. At the opening ceremony, there were performances by the gardemadchen and the gymnastics girls. In the future, the summer play festival, to which children and also adults are invited – they do not necessarily have to be members of TSV scherneck – will take place every two years, assured the two youth leaders.
